Seller's Notes:

SELLER COMMENTSThis is the one you want! Drives better than it did from the factory, and turns like it had 4-wheel articulated steering. Four wheel drive works great. Whether you are looking for a Wrangler TJ to drive every day, or as the basis for building into an awesome customized Jeep, this is the one you want! As you can see from the photos, this is a great looking Jeep. The custom work done thus far was expertly done by SPORT TRUCK SPECIALTIES, of Davenport, IA. Over $3,800.00 invested in the lift, suspension, tires, wheels, etc. The Jeep has been driven less than 2,000 miles since the conversion, stored indoors, and not driven off-road or in mud, ice or snow. I am really struggling with parting with this gem, so buy it quickly before I change my mind! EQUIPMENT DETAILSThis is a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport, 6 cylinder, automatic, power steering, with air (blows really cold). Cruise, fog lights, sound system has stock stereo CD player/radio with sound bar and sub-woofer in console (although sub-woofer does not work). Upgrades include five 33" x 12.50" DICK CEPEK BONE CRUSHER tires, on PREMIUM DICK CEPEK 15 x 10 POLISHED WHEELS. These tires have a really cool tread pattern that would leave bone and skull shaped tread marks in the dirt or snow. Three-inch lift, so insurance is no problem. All upgraded suspension and stabilizer components are still shiny-new looking. Great looking and sturdy billet CARR step hoops. I will supply a copy of the invoice from Sport Truck Specialties, with the Jeep, so you will know just what was done. Convertible top is in great condition. WEAR AND TEAR Overall great condition! Runs and drives wonderfully, and has been well maintained mechanically. New battery. From the CARFAX report, this Jeep appears to have been a daily driver for the first owner, who put most of the miles on it, so it has some wear. It has some scratches, stone chips, etc., that were professionally touched-up at the time the custom suspension work was done. The underside was also detailed with black paint at that time. There were some small areas of surface rust on the frame and skid plates that were painted over when the undercarriage was detailed, but look good. Aside from the touched-up scratches and chips, mentioned above, the body is great all over with the exception of the driver side rear corner, which is slightly dented, as though someone bumped the tail light on that side into something while backing up. This is not very noticeable, (see photo), and the taillight pod is not damaged. Interior looks and operates generally great, with minimal evidence of wear and tear. Passenger-side air bag cover is slightly dented, (see photo) and the release catch on the passenger seat, for rear seat access, is stuck. Upholstery, carpeting and interior trim is very good for a vehicle of this age. There are a couple of small, 1/8 inch diameter holes in the rear seat covering, probably from cigarette ash. Don't know how it happened. It was that way when I got it, and neither I nor anyone else has smoked in it in the years that I have owned it. The leather covering on the steering wheel was cracked when I got it, so it is covered with a nice steering wheel cover that feels great in your hands. As I said at the outset, this is the one you want! You'll love it!
